Just looking at these quirky little lopsided buildings in the trees to one side of Beaver Lake on “the mountain” (Montreal’s Mount Royal) makes me want to sit down and write.
I’m sure I’d finish my next story collection so much faster if I had one of these as my private writing nook.
Unfortunately that little sticker says “Employees Only.”
I did have to walk around to find the door. It isn’t immediately obvious – not as obvious as the photo suggests. Is the secret door one of the reasons why the consoles look so appealing?
Enjoy other doors at Norm’s 2.0 Thursday Doors.
They are so cool, they remind me of trees bending in the wind.

I’m glad you find them fun. I wonder if one gets the same off-kilter feeling when one’s inside!

Strange stuff indeed. What are they Susi? Greenhouses? Storage sheds? Any idea?

I’m wondering if they’re for tea breaks! Or for workplace seminars, planning meetings… Or maybe for selling tickets to people who rent boats on the lake? They aren’t in quite the right place on the mountain for bird watching (except for gulls and ducks!). The doors are quite wide so I imagined them driving those little trucks/carts in there to offload stuff. But I like your idea of greenhouses.

Thanks. Yes, aren’t they ever bizarre? I’m surprised ‘they’ would do something like this – but such fun!
